​We always welcome applications, and preference will be given to those with strong physical, thermophysical, and materials science backgrounds. Students with bachelor's degrees in physics are extremely encouraged to apply.​

• Applicants should have good scores in their major required courses (>90 or >A).

• Applicants should have satisfactory English Proficiency Requirements in IELTS (6.5 or above) or TOEFL (internet-based: 90 or above). The normal Ph.D. studentship is around 19,000 HKD/month, while 24,000 HKD/month for HKPFS will be offered to successful applicants. For more information, please refer to their websites.
